Development Logs
Fluxxion
Finally, Fluxxion is set to launch this coming Friday.
There’s a lot of things that I have in mind right now to execute and ideas are coming so fast that can be added but I fixed the deadline to launch it on Friday.
I may record a devlog type video and upload it on YouTube.
See you on friday then ;)
Focusly
I read an article of Florin Pop a while ago, where he wrote about building a tool to track working hours.
This was the article in case you are interested:
https://www.florin-pop.com/blog/built-app-to-track-work-time/
Basically, I was a website where you log your working hours. User can create project and in each project can define tasks to do, and record progress for that particular project by enable the timer when working. Whole idea was to actually work instead of procrastinating on random videos and also track your progress so you get to know where you actually spend your time of the day.
I liked the idea and did try out the website but it was paid 😗
So, I thought let’s make this tool by myself but with more features. I needed a space for organizing all of my projects at one place. Where i can organize all projects and within project can define tasks, can track how much time I spent on each project. This way, I can track my overall progress of where I am spending my time each day.
I can also add analytics where I will get maybe weekly mail about my overall progress on each project etc. Something like WakaTime.
Personal Branding
By Definition: “Personal branding is the intentional and strategic management of your public image, focusing on how others perceive you, including your skills, experiences, values, and how you communicate them to create a distinct and memorable identity.”
Currently, my overall profile is pretty messed up. Like, I post my projects consistently only on Linkedin but my all posts got deleted since my account was recovered so I don’t have record to my projects that I build in 2024.
There’s a long time since I updated my personal website. I have Instagram account where I posted coding related work previously but haven’t post anything since months. Previous week, I also created a notes/wiki website. I also have social media accounts and most people don’t know where I post all of my stuff.
So, I realize I should build my personal brand as an umbrella under which all my work, tech experiments, projects, and startup ideas will be posted.
Main challenge is to ensure that my branding (logo, colors, and themes) aligns across all platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, blog, etc.). I am planning these things that will move towards next step.
I have linked one article that helped me in this process in “Weekly Picks” section below.
These are some of the logos that I might pick inspiration from:
Reflections of the Week
I started getting back on the habit of Book Reading & finally finished The Almanack Of Naval Ravikant by Eric Jorgenson.
Previously, I have read the work of Naval Ravikant and that’s why I picked the before at first. The book comes under self-help and covers many topics like happiness, health, wealth, business, relationships and many other things in general.
I learned many new lessons and new things.
Most of our suffering comes from avoidance.
There’s no meaning to life. There is no purpose of life. It’s like writing on water or building houses of sand. Anything you do will fade, it will disappear, just like human race will disappear and the planet will disappear. Meaning of life is personal. You have to find your own meaning.
I was thinking of writing summaries for the books that I read. Let me know if this sounds interesting to you.
