In today’s blog, we celebrate our new look for Q2 2025: an improved payment flow and $NODE utility available from the new NodeOps Console and Marketplace.

What’s new?

We exist to make it as simple as possible for you, our community, to run Web3 protocol Nodes, so we are keen to show off our new feature: Pay for Nodes with credits.

Pay with Credits

NodeOps’ new credit flow makes managing your Console subscriptions and Marketplace spends even simpler than ever before. You can now top up your credits and hold a credit balance in your accounts. That means fewer steps every time you pay, fewer third-party fees, and a better UX all round.

Forgot to top up and don’t have enough credits? We gotcha; there’s still a top-up option from the cart.

Less clicks, less back and forth, and less hassle all around!

Pay with $NODE

Rewarding our loyal users is always our primary priority. Our OGs have been patiently waiting to use their $NODE, and we are thrilled to announce that you can now spend $NODE as credits across the NodeOps ecosystem.

If you were airdropped Wave 1 $NODE, you’re allowlisted — meaning you can use that $NODE to top up your credits: $NODE lets you run Nodes!

🚀 Early bird gets the worm

The earlier you convert your $NODE, the better rate you'll get! We're starting with a max rate of 0.75 USD per $NODE, which will gradually decrease over time. So don't wait too long!

📊 Smart daily adjustments

We're keeping things balanced by adjusting rates based on daily demand. If lots of people convert on the same day, the rate will dip to ensure fairness for everyone.

💰 $5M Total USD Credits

We've set aside $5 million in USD credits for this program. To ensure everyone gets a fair shot, we've got daily limits in place.

⏳ Time-limited opportunity

This conversion opportunity will run for 60 days, giving everyone an opportunity to participate.

🔒 Guaranteed minimum rate

No matter when you convert, you're guaranteed a minimum rate of 0.1 USD per NODE. We've got your back!

🤔 Things to consider

• The rate does decrease over time, so consider early conversion.

• There's a daily cap on conversions to keep things fair for everyone.

This mechanism is designed to show you all our deep appreciation for your belief in us and for staying with us through this journey.

Simplified Copperx payment flow

Paying for services with $NODE isn’t the only new feature we brought in 2025. With NodeOps V2, you can now bring credits in by paying once with Copperx and then use those credits as needed. This means you can still pay using your favorite stables on your preferred chains through Copperx, or use your debit or credit card, but you can reduce the fees you pay to transfer those funds with lump-sum transfers.
