Now raju comes from a middle class family and he know his parents would never get convince for a remote control car. Now his old techniques are also not working. so know he first plans what he will say to his parents and according to possible reactions what he will say next to convince his parents. That’s how chain of thoughts prompting works that you tell your llm to thought and process in a certain way.

Raju’s Probability - Self-Consistency Prompting

Nows raju grews and his parents wants him to study hard without any distractions. So now raju don’t get all the things he wanted. So Raju thought getting one or two things only would be better that not getting anything. So now raju calculates the probability of everything and request his parents of the thing with highest probability of getting. Self-Consistency prompting works the same way, the results which it gets the most, it returns that.

Now as raju was instructed by his parents to study and not go out, so raju follow their instructions because he knows to get things he wanted to need to follow instructions. Thats how Instruction prompting works, our llm follows some instruction and answers accodingly.
