Have you ever wanted to create AI-generated images of yourself—starring in fantasy scenes, on magazine covers, or in cinematic moods—all without writing a single line of code?

This guide walks you through how to train your own face into an AI image generation model using the Flux LoRA method, hosted via Replicate and Hugging Face. You’ll be able to generate super-realistic AI images of yourself using just a few simple steps.

🚀 What’s LoRA & Why Flux?

LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation) is a lightweight technique for fine-tuning large models without retraining them from scratch. It’s efficient, fast, and lets you train personalized versions of image generators like Stable Diffusion.

Flux is a LoRA trainer designed specifically for faces—ideal for personal portraits, profile pics, and AI content. And the best part? No coding needed.

🛠 Prerequisites

  • ✅ 20–25 good-quality photos of yourself

  • ✅ A free account on Replicate

  • ✅ A free account on Hugging Face

  • 💵 ~$2–$4 for training costs on Replicate

🧑‍💻 Step-by-Step Guide

1. Gather Your Dataset

Take 20–25 high-res images of your face. Include:

  • Different angles (front, profile, semi-profile)

  • Varied lighting (indoor, outdoor, night, soft light)

  • Diverse expressions, clothing, and backgrounds

These help the AI generalize your face across contexts.

2. Zip Your Images

Put all your images in one folder and compress it into a .zip file. This is what you’ll upload during training.

3. Go to the Flux LoRA Trainer

Head over to the Flux LoRA page on Replicate. This model is optimized for facial learning and completely open source.

4. Sign Up on Replicate

Create a Replicate account (free). Once logged in:

  • Click the “Destination” dropdown → Create Model

  • Give it a name like samad-ai-face

  • Optionally, make it Private to restrict access

5. Upload Your ZIP Folder

Use the upload button to select your .zip file with the photos. This will serve as the training input.

6. Choose a Trigger Word

This is a magic word to invoke your face in future prompts.

Example:
Trigger word → samad
Prompt → “a renaissance painting of samad as a king”

Make it unique so it doesn’t overlap with existing concepts.

7. Configure Training Settings

  • Training Steps2000 (recommended)

  • Leave LoRA Rank and Learning Rate unchanged

  • You’ll get best results with these default settings

8. Create a Hugging Face Model Repo

Go to Hugging Face → Create an account
Then:

  • Click your profile picture → New Model

  • Name it (same as Replicate is fine)

  • Set it as Private

  • Copy the Repo ID shown (e.g., yourusername/samad-ai-face)

9. Add Hugging Face Details in Replicate

Back on Replicate:

  • Paste the Hugging Face Repo ID into HF repo ID

  • Go back to Hugging Face → Settings → Access Tokens

  • Create a token with Full Access

  • Copy the token and paste into HF token secret

10. Start Training

Click on Create Training
If this is your first time, you’ll need to add billing info. Cost: ~$2–$4
⏳ Training takes around 15–30 mins

11. Monitor Training Logs

Once it says “Training has completed” — your face model is now live! 🎉

12. Use the Inference Page to Generate Images

Head to the Inferencing link (provided in the video or the Flux LoRA repo).
There:

  • Paste your Hugging Face repo link

  • Use prompts like:

“a cinematic photo of samad walking in Times Square at night”
“a 90s Bollywood poster featuring samad”

13. Tweak the Settings (Optional)

Customize:

  • Output size

  • Prompt strength

  • Number of variations

  • LoRA weight (if you want to control resemblance)

Default settings work great, but exploring can lead to magic!

🧠 Pro Tips

  • Avoid blurry or low-res photos—they reduce model accuracy

  • Don’t use face filters or excessive editing

  • Use creative, context-rich prompts for best results

⚠️ Important Ethics Note

Do not train models on other people’s faces without their permission. This is both unethical and potentially illegal under AI/data protection laws.

🎨 Example Prompts to Try

  • “samad as a cyberpunk hacker in Tokyo”

  • “samad in a 1920s black-and-white gangster movie”

  • “a Pixar-style animation of samad dancing in the rain”

🎉 Final Thoughts

With just a few images and an hour of work, you can now generate AI art starring YOU — useful for creative content, profile pictures, or just plain fun.
