Ryan's English Learning Journey

Why I’m Learning English again
I want to improve my English skills — especially on speaking and writing. Back in high school, I scored 130/150 in the English exam and later passed CET-6 in university. But when it comes to real conversations — like during travel or job interviews — I often feel stuck and lack confidence.
Now, as a software engineer, I see English not just as a subject, but as a powerful skill for both life and career. I’m eager to connect with people from different cultures, understand their perspectives, and learn from global knowledge communities.
Six years after graduating, I’ve decided to start learning English again — this time with a structured and practical approach. Unlike school, where we prepared for tests, I’m now focusing on output skills: speaking and writing.
What This Page is About
In this post, I’ll document my English learning journey — what I’m exploring, how I’m practicing, and what tools I’m using. You’ll also find videos I recorded myself (like daily speaking practice), plus curated resources from Youtube channels, podcasts, and creators I learn from.
Resources
The resources that truly matter to me — practice materials that I love, skills that inspire me, and tools that support this learning journey.
