Why I am learning GenAI (pray for me 🙏)

I’ll be honest with you. I do not know what I am doing, neither do I know what I should be writing in this blog, I just want to learn and create something big in this space. This blog is a breadcrumb trail for the future me. Hopefully one day I’ll look back at it and see how far I’ve come. Otherwise, yeah... I might be a little cooked. This is like day -1 of me getting started, what I feel right now is confusion (idk how to blog), embarrassment (when I read this again someday) and a little pressure (stemming from wanting to achieve high levels of success). All I know is that ever since, ChatGPT talked to me as my future self, past self and the stranger who I accidently waved back to and wasn’t actually waving at me, that this is all I want to do. How did we go from hard-coded chatbots to freaking models who can solve a vast majority of my problems so efficiently! I learn new things ChatGPT can do everyday, girl’s basically my soulmate by now. I do admit I have not been using it as a tool but lowkey as my therapist and it knows more about me than my actual friend(s).

I had an epiphany a few months ago about a startup idea as one does, and I thought it would pass but it just won’t and I believe it won’t till I get it done and that is why I want to learn about GenAI. I want to go from super noob to super ultra pro level. I am at the super noob stage right now and if you think you are too, maybe you can take a look at what I do and maybe try doing better than that, cause you best believe I learn by making at least 1 trillion mistakes.

This idea that I am talking about is super close to my heart because it comes from a place I used to be very sensitive about and I believe it has the potential to change lives. I don’t know how that’ll happen, I don’t know when it’ll happen, but I know for a fact that it will cause I am going to make it happen. So yeah, here goes a big chunk of my life into learning and building a project I am deeply passionate about whilst making a fool of myself and open-sourcing my chaos and calling it learning.
