Chi'Va's Founders Have Endured & Surpassed Trauma Too

From the outside, we may seem like we have it all figured out. We’re building something meaningful, innovative, and transformative. We speak with confidence about trauma, healing, and resilience. But the truth is—Chi’Va exists because we needed it too.
“We’re not removed from the experience of trauma. We’ve lived it.”
Some of us have endured personal betrayals, grief that comes in waves and doesn't ask permission, and the kind of burnout that no vacation can fix. We’ve hit breaking points in our professional lives—running companies while unraveling inside. And we’ve faced the kind of pressure that forces you to decide whether to mask your pain or reveal it to a world that doesn’t always hold space for truth.
That’s why Chi’Va is more than a platform. It’s our practice.
What Helped Us Wasn’t Just a Technique—It Was Permission
We started using Chi’Va not just as creators, but as participants. Not as therapists. Not as leaders. As humans. And it helped because it gave us space to feel without being shamed, to slow down without being judged, and to tell the truth without fear of being dismissed.
When we Chi’Va, we’re not performing. We’re not "trying to get over it." We’re simply honoring what is. That’s why this protocol includes more than bilateral stimulation or guided reflection. It includes validation, containment, and a return to self.
We Still Use It—Especially on the Hard Days
There are days when we don’t feel strong. Days when the stories in our heads say, "You should’ve healed by now." And those are the moments when we Chi’Va. We close our eyes. We ground. We go inward. And we let the protocol hold us.
We use our own tools to show up again—not as perfect leaders, but as honest ones.
This Isn’t Whining—It’s Radical Truth-Telling
We want to say this out loud because high performers are often taught to suppress. In elite circles, vulnerability can be seen as weakness. But at Chi’Va, we know that vulnerability is actually where our greatest strength resides.
So when we open up about what we’re going through, we’re not whining. We’re modeling what it looks like to care for ourselves radically. We’re holding space for each other. And we’re giving permission to our entire community to show up as they are—messy, powerful, and real.
We’re in This Together
If you’ve ever wondered whether Chi’Va is for people like you, this is your answer: Chi’Va was built for people who carry a lot—and are tired of carrying it alone. People who perform at high levels and still feel weighed down inside. People who are brave enough to say, “I need help” and wise enough to choose tools that work.
That’s what we built. And we’re honored to share it with you.
“CHOOSE YOURSELF—CHOOSE CHI’VA”
