Key Lessons from Working in an Early Stage Startup

Hey everyone, I recently had the chance to work for an early-stage startup, where I worked directly with the founding team. It was a great opportunity, and I learned a lot, not just in my skill set, like web development, but also about entrepreneurship in general.

I joined as a Full Stack web developer and worked on websites and projects using ReactJS, NextJS, Node JS, and more. I have a senior colleague who is also my mentor, and in the past, I often sought his advice on what to learn and how to enter the industry.

finally, i got this chance so what i learned -

I noticed the real skills that make people like my mentor and one of the founders successful. This inspired me to work even harder.

One day, I asked him, "How can I become like you?"

His reply was inspiring. He said, "Prateek, from a very young age, I knew I wanted to do this. I always kept my curiosity and interest alive, and then everything became quite easy for me. It was never as much of a struggle as it might seem from an outsider's perspective."

How the entrepreneurship is done all the time and research behind deciding what business you want to get into

My senior shared that he has over 3 years in the industry and 7 years in WebDev, starting in college. He now works from home for an MNC and used to travel a lot for learning and opportunities.

He said, “I talked to many people and explored different industries in the last 3 years. I realized you succeed best in your own field, where you excel. For me, it was tech, which is booming now, so I returned to tech and started this startup."

That's it for now. I'll be sharing more of my learnings as I continue on this journey.
Hope it helps! :)
