🧠 Days 45–53: A Rough Week, But Still Moving

It’s been a while since I posted an update here, and to be honest, this past week has probably been one of the toughest so far—mentally and emotionally.

I wasn’t able to apply to any roles. At the beginning of the week, I had this solid shot at cracking an interview, but things didn’t go as expected. I slipped up on some basics, and the chance just faded. What felt like ā€œjust a few daysā€ turned into a whole week, and not much progress to show for it. That really got to me.

šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« Mentally Stuck, Still Thinking

This stretch has made me question a lot—like what path should I really stick to?
Cloud/DevOps has been the plan all along, and I’ve already built a decent foundation there.
But there’s this nagging pull towards Android development and Kotlin. No logical reason—just a feeling. A sort of fantasy. Weirdly enough, it feels more exciting than backend stuff, even though I can do backend fairly well.

šŸ“‰ Motivation Dip (Days 50–52)

By the time I hit Day 50, I was low on motivation. It’s hard not to feel like I haven’t made enough progress, even after 50 days. The inconsistency hurts more than the actual output. I’ve been trying to find ways to overcome this block, and though there’s no clear answer yet, I haven’t given up.

✊ Still Standing

Even through all this, there’s a little voice that keeps saying: ā€œJust start. It’ll get better.ā€
And I’m holding onto that.

So from today, I’m resetting. Trying to be more consistent, more focused, and give it another serious shot.
The goal stays the same—land a job by early May, or as soon as possible.

šŸ› ļø What’s Next?

Right now, I’m:

  • Re-evaluating whether to continue DevOps/Cloud, or explore Android with Kotlin on the side.

  • Planning to bring back consistency, even if it’s just 1 hour a day.

  • Gearing up for more applications and prep in the coming week.

That’s it for now. If you’ve been in the same boat lately, just know it’s okay to feel stuck.
We move again.
