š§ Days 45ā53: A Rough Week, But Still Moving

Itās been a while since I posted an update here, and to be honest, this past week has probably been one of the toughest so farāmentally and emotionally.
I wasnāt able to apply to any roles. At the beginning of the week, I had this solid shot at cracking an interview, but things didnāt go as expected. I slipped up on some basics, and the chance just faded. What felt like ājust a few daysā turned into a whole week, and not much progress to show for it. That really got to me.
šµāš« Mentally Stuck, Still Thinking
This stretch has made me question a lotālike what path should I really stick to?
Cloud/DevOps has been the plan all along, and Iāve already built a decent foundation there.
But thereās this nagging pull towards Android development and Kotlin. No logical reasonājust a feeling. A sort of fantasy. Weirdly enough, it feels more exciting than backend stuff, even though I can do backend fairly well.
š Motivation Dip (Days 50ā52)
By the time I hit Day 50, I was low on motivation. Itās hard not to feel like I havenāt made enough progress, even after 50 days. The inconsistency hurts more than the actual output. Iāve been trying to find ways to overcome this block, and though thereās no clear answer yet, I havenāt given up.
ā Still Standing
Even through all this, thereās a little voice that keeps saying: āJust start. Itāll get better.ā
And Iām holding onto that.
So from today, Iām resetting. Trying to be more consistent, more focused, and give it another serious shot.
The goal stays the sameāland a job by early May, or as soon as possible.
š ļø Whatās Next?
Right now, Iām:
Re-evaluating whether to continue DevOps/Cloud, or explore Android with Kotlin on the side.
Planning to bring back consistency, even if itās just 1 hour a day.
Gearing up for more applications and prep in the coming week.
Thatās it for now. If youāve been in the same boat lately, just know itās okay to feel stuck.
We move again.
