I recently took the Linux Foundations CKAD exam and managed to pass it! hence decided to share my experience on it.

This exam can be taken by any aspiring Cloud Engineer/Developer/DevOps/SRE who wants to get a little deeper understanding of how one can A) Understand Kubernetes as a Containers Orchestration tool B) Build Applications that can be deployed on Kubernetes.

I would recommend that before giving this exam person should have at least good 6 months experience in managing Kubernetes Environment. As you would get more out of this exam if you have prior experience rather than purely giving exam as novice/beginner.

NOTE: This exam is not like other exams that involves MCQ’s , rather its a time based (2hours) Open Documentation exam !

Yep you heard it right , you are allowed to access Kubernetes official documentation while solving Time based Task.

Below are some of the free and relevant link that can help you prepare for the exam.

But.. But… Remember Certifications are not be all end all , they can make your CV attractive only if you have practical knowledge!
