Fluxxion Launch

Its been 2 weeks since I launched fluxxion.

If you don’t know about Fluxxion, its a social networking platform for techies where they can hangout, solve different challenges, showcase their projects and get feedback from the community.

The idea for this project comes to my mind as I haven’t seen any platform that provides a place specifically for developers. Although, they can use Linkedin, X or Instagram for these same features, but these platforms built with other purposes.

Currently, the response is positive, I got the feedback from some users on what to improve more.

MeetX

Recently, I had to pick the project for Computer Networking Subject.

Me and my project member (Darzi 😗) decided to make MeetX, Peer to Peer Video Calling website. To add more features, we also added File Sharing and Collaborative Whiteboard within the website.

Tech Stack: React, Node, Express, WebRTC, WebSockets

However, project evaluation is done, but I was thinking of adding “Share Screen” feature also, where user can share the screen while presenting. Maybe I will add this feature too.

Personal Website

I have this portfolio website that I made:

But I haven’t updated the website a while ago. Also, at the time of making the website, I make it minimal as I want to change the design but didn’t have that much ideas of how i want the website design to look like.

It was ok, but I was thinking of changing the whole design. Although, this website can still work and you don’t have to make website with advanced animations. But, I think your website represents you and your skill, so you should have decent website that directly showcase your skills.

So, I thought lets redesign the whole website. Previously, as you can see on screenshot, I had 5 pages, two main pages were Projects and Playground.

Now, in new website, i want to show my main projects & archive projects that I completed. This could be a separate page of Archives.

One page that I want to add is, Lab/Experiment page, where I can show on-going projects, along with some things that can be useful to the users.

I also want to showcase my articles and writings on personal website so this will showcase my writing work, technical, non-technical both.

Reflections

No one warns you about the loneliness that comes with growing.

The silence when old friendships stop fitting, but new ones haven’t formed.
