What Is an Operating System? Explained in Simple Terms

Does not everyone just wonder how machines work perfectly with the press of a button? Well, that's when an Operating System comes in place. It acts as a brain for your device whereby, when the button is pressed, that mystical gadget starts doing everything, such as running apps to saving files. Whether on a cellphone, laptop, or even digital television, the OS performs silently.
