The Destiny Art Project

The Destiny Art project came to me as an idea after having several vivid visions. In my mind, I had a vision of myself creating an album called DESTINY, and I pictured it as a one-of-a-kind project. When I saw the album in my mind like that, the idea stayed with me, and so I started writing lyrics for the first songs. The ideas and lyrics flowed without me really having to think too much about it. It just all came together naturally.

When I went through a period of intense health issues, I realized that I may not always be able to record this album, and something told me this is something I need to complete while I’m still here to do it. I began recording the basic tracks for the album in March and April, and soon I had eight song ideas that I began to put together.

From there, I realized I could look beyond just the concept album, and really dive deeper into Destiny Art as a whole. I saw that I didn’t have to limit myself to songs - Destiny Art became a concept art project that encompassed writing, drawing, digital art, and many other mediums. I realized I was fascinated by the concept of destiny and the idea that certain things are meant to be in our lives. It related to the meaning of my first name, Destiny, and that drew me to the idea even more.

One of the handwritten notes I made for the Destiny Art project included the idea of creating a website for it. I wanted to have a place to explore the concept further, so this is why I created this website.
