My DevOps Learning Journey Begins: Why I Chose KodeKloud and Hashnode

Hi everyone! 👋
My name is Honey Kumar, and today marks the beginning of my DevOps learning journey.
Although I’m currently working in the tech field, my role doesn’t fully involve DevOps yet. That’s exactly why I’ve decided to start learning DevOps seriously — to bridge that gap and grow into a more versatile and in-demand engineer.
🚀 Why DevOps?
The world of software is changing fast, and DevOps is right at the center of that transformation. It brings together development and operations, enabling faster delivery, automation, collaboration, and reliability. I believe DevOps skills will not only boost my career but also allow me to contribute more meaningfully to any tech team.
🎯 Why I Chose KodeKloud
After researching various platforms, I chose KodeKloud because it focuses on hands-on learning. I’ve heard great things about their labs and structured paths for beginners. I plan to start from the basics — Linux, Git, Docker — and move forward step by step toward advanced tools like Kubernetes, Jenkins, and more.
📝 Why I’m Writing on Hashnode
To stay consistent and reflect on my progress, I’ll be documenting everything I learn right here on Hashnode. Writing blog posts helps me solidify concepts, and I hope it also helps others who are just starting out with DevOps.
📅 What’s Coming Next?
In the upcoming Days, I’ll be posting about:
My takeaways from each KodeKloud course or lab
Key DevOps concepts explained simply
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Real-life examples as I try things out
If you’re also learning DevOps or thinking about it, feel free to connect or drop a comment. Let’s learn together!

Honey Kumar
