Hello, Hashnode community! 👋

I’m excited to finally kick off my journey into the world of technology, and what better way to start than by sharing my thoughts here on Hashnode? This blog post marks the beginning of my learning and career transformation, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my goals.

A Little About Me

I’m a recent graduate with a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications), and I’ve been working hard to shift my career focus towards backend development and cloud engineering. While I’ve spent some time building a strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot, I’m also diving into cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to broaden my skillset and open new doors for freelance opportunities.

I’ve always been drawn to tech because of its limitless possibilities. The idea of building systems that power everything around us, from websites to complex infrastructures, excites me. Over the past few months, I’ve been dedicating myself to deepening my understanding of backend development, databases, data structures, and algorithms (DSA), all while learning how to manage and deploy cloud-based applications.

Why This Blog?

This blog will serve as a space for me to share my learnings, projects, and the ups and downs of my journey. Whether you're a fellow tech enthusiast, a student like me, or someone already in the industry, I hope my posts can offer insights, inspiration, and maybe even a bit of humor as we all navigate the ever-changing tech landscape.

Some of the topics I plan to cover include:

  • Backend Development: Tips on learning Java, Spring Boot, and building RESTful APIs.

  • Cloud Engineering: My progress with AWS, cloud infrastructure, and best practices.

  • DSA for Interviews: Sharing my experiences solving DSA problems and preparing for interviews.

  • Freelancing: How I plan to start freelancing in the cloud and software development space.

What’s Next?

I’m currently working on two exciting projects:

  1. Cloud Storage System – A scalable system that integrates with cloud platforms for data storage and retrieval.

  2. Cloud-Based URL Shortener – A practical tool for shortening URLs with a cloud-based backend.

Once I’ve wrapped up the fundamentals of cloud technologies and backend development, I plan to dive deeper into these projects and showcase them as part of my portfolio.

As I progress, I’ll be sharing lessons learned, challenges faced, and breakthroughs that might help anyone following a similar path. I also plan to share any resources I find useful, from courses to books, that have helped me along the way.

Happy coding!

I build reliable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies like AWS. Currently pursuing MCA and a strong drive to grow, I’m currently focused on mastering cloud infrastructure, backend development, and data structures. I’m also building a streak-based productivity app to showcase my technical skills and problem-solving mindset. My long-term goal is to developer cloud and backend solutions that are clean, scalable, and impactful. Always learning. Always building. Open to collaboration and new ideas.
