The article describes how to monitor an EC2 instance's CPU utilization using CloudWatch. After creating an EC2 instance and adding load, you navigate to the CloudWatch console, select the EC2 instance's resource ID, choose the "CPUUtilization" metric, and view its performance graphically over various time durations.
