In July 2024, SECI issued a tender for Setting up Production Facilities for Green Hydrogen in India under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme (Mode-1-Tranche-II), for which Letter of Awards were given to successful bidders in February and March 2025.
๐นThe bids were opened in December 2024, attracting 14 players with a ๐ฐ๐๐บ๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐ฑ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ฒ,๐ฎ๐ฒ,๐ฑ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ ๐ง/๐๐ป๐ป๐๐บ. The received bids exceeded the total allocated capacity of 4,50,000 MT/ Annum, which showed increasing interest in green hydrogen segment.
