My Development Journey

Honestly, I’ve been coding and focusing on web development for about two years now. During this time, I’ve worked with various tools, such as Python (Django) for my backend, Vue.js for my frontend, Django Rest Framework for API development, and Postgres for database management. It’s been a challenging journey, but it’s definitely worth it.

As I write this, I realize that I’ve created several projects that have allowed me to dive deeper into database management, APIs, backend logic, frontend design and implementation — all of which come together to create beautiful, interactive, and powerful web applications for end users. However, despite the work I’ve put in, I still feel like it’s not enough. I know this feeling is something many of us experience.

On my journey to satisfy this need to learn and grow, I’ve come across many concepts, including software development, DevOps, and machine learning & AI. The news about AI replacing software, web, and mobile developers hasn’t exactly helped ease my concerns. But enough about that — I’ve decided to create a simple 30-day roadmap toward success. Over the next month, I will be working on various projects to test and apply the skills I’ve learned.

By the end of this 30-day challenge, I hope to have not only created a solid personal brand but also perfected my skills.

This is Muchira Irungu. Join me on this journey, and let’s grow together!
