Don’t be extreme, just be consistent

A few days back, I wrote an article about starting my #30dayschallenge to overcome bad habits and stay disciplined. So far, I have completed 7 days, counting this day. And I want to show up here by writing an article to tell that how it has been the last week.

If you’ve just stumbled upon this and haven’t had a chance to read my last article, I’m sharing the link here so you can understand why I started this challenge and what it’s all about.

30 Days to a Better Me: Overcoming Bad Habits with Discipline and Intention

🧠What I’ve learned so far:

I know one week may sound small, but it’s great that I’ve been able to do the things which I am committed to doing every day.

I have been making progress, which I know is early to say, but for me to say this, it’s a valid point to add.

Here is what I discovered:

  • You can do the things even when you’re not feeling like doing them, because that is the advantage of being disciplined.

  • Reading 10 pages of a book, a walk and learning new things, this all things that I’ve been doing every day for the last few days that matter to me because they are like small wins, because these things are making me believe that being consistent matters.

  • And I discovered the most impressive one in myself, that I can sit in a room, close my eyes, and just try to concentrate on breathing. What I am trying to say is I'm doing Meditation.

✅ Wins This week:

Looking back on the last 7 days, I’m proud of the progress that I’ve made:

  • Had my walk for 7 out of 7 days.

  • Read some insightful information about Habits from James Clear

  • Less Social Media Interaction, which I have been doing for a very long time.

  • More focused on learning and also posting about them on my social platforms

🙌Final Thoughts:

Seven days down, I can’t say it’s Perfect because I had my struggles to get past. But I’m saying that I’m a little better than last week.

Just like I said in the previous one,

This isn’t about finishing a challenge — it’s a quiet promise I made to myself, to face the habits that hold me back and build the kind of discipline that shapes me slowly, into someone stronger, for the long run.

And I’ve to be ready for that..!

If you’ve been thinking about starting your challenge, do it. You don’t have to be ready. You just have to begin.

Let’s keep going. 🚀
