How AI is Used in Robotics

AI has become a real part of how students build, explore, and think in school. And when combined with robotics, it gives students tools that are both interactive and intelligent. It's the kind of learning that sticks.
Why does AI in education matter?
AI is changing industries across the board. According to a World Economic Forum report, over 85 million jobs may be displaced by automation by 2025. And almost 97 million new roles will be there that would be more aligned with the digital future. So yes, schools have to step in now. AI isn’t a later thing anymore. It’s today’s skill.
Where does AI fit in robotics education?
When kids build a robot, they do more than just put parts together. With AI, they make the robot respond to multiple things. For example, the robot actively gives responses to voice commands, identifies images, moves based on sound, or even improves its own behaviour through repeated trials. Now, all these are not just abstract ideas anymore. They make sense when students test them with their own hands.
AI in robotics education actually helps students with :
Understand pattern recognition (vision, voice, movement)
Train systems using logic and trial-and-error cycles
See how real-world automation reacts to data inputs
How AI and robotics work together?
At Blix, we believe that AI doesn’t have to wait till high school. With the right projects, even young learners get comfortable with sensors, triggers, and basic automation.
For example, we have compiled our kits in a way that, in grades 1-2, they can explore how a sensor triggers light or motion. Next, in grades 3-5, they actually build smart systems that act based on simple logic flows. And till grades 6-8, kids start creating models that recognise voice, detect images, or adapt over time.
They work on projects like a robot that learns to follow a line better after each attempt. Or they build a robotic model that sorts shapes based on vision tools. And the best part, they enjoy the process, learn new concepts, even when they are learning.
What schools actually need to make AI and robotics come together?
Schools should get a comprehensive kit that understands progression. Blix does that.
The STEM Robotics Kit and AI-powered robotics kits from Blix are designed for age-appropriate scaling. Starting with intuitive builds and going all the way to AI projects with real-world relevance.
Blix offers multiple kits that are classroom-ready and built to scale. From early-age screen-free sets to advanced AI kits, we provide tools that match each learning level. Every kit supports project-based learning and introduces AI and robotics concepts in a way that's age-appropriate and practical.
How Blix help schools bring AI into learning?
We set up Blix STEM labs for children to explore robotics, coding, AI, ML, AR, VR, IoT, Electronics, Mechanics, and more
All our STEM kits are of international quality
Our curriculum is designed to match the school curriculum so that students perform better in their regular science and maths classes
We do regular audits of the lab, material replacements, competition preparations, student assessments, and all software updates, and critically essential updates are done and given for free.
AI in classrooms isn’t about heavy jargon or complicated tools. It’s about showing students how the tech around them works. And letting them build with it. That’s where Blix fits in.
We give students the space to experiment. We let them build things that move, respond, and think. That’s where learning gets real!
