Blender – Day 129: Making Fur

✅ Did:

• Learned how to make fur like texture (felt)

• Learned how to make a cute bear/tiger/cat shape

  

❌ Mistake:

• Due to the initial scale of the model being too big the hair particles and curves were not scaling properly

• Also there was a shape key on my model which wouldn’t let the fur wrap around the head

• It was also not UV unwrapped so the felt was not working

• Model needed to be a bit more detailed to capture the intricate shape around nose and hair

💡 Learned:

• How to do felt texture

• How to make quick eyes

• Sculpting a face is a bit better

• Making divided components
