Based on a screenplay he co-conceived with Roman Coppola, Wes Anderson is the producer, writer, and director of the upcoming espionage dark comedy thriller, The Phoenician Scheme. Benicio del Toro, Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend, and Hope Davis are among the ensemble cast members of the movie. Anderson’s American Empirical Pictures, a U.S.-German international co-production, and Steven Rales’s Indian Paintbrush will produce it.
