On Tamil Genocide Remembrance Day, Seeman, the chief coordinator of Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK), criticized both Chief Minister MK Stalin and Opposition leader Edappadi K Palaniswami for failing to issue a statement of grief on the occasion. Speaking at an event held at Codissia Ground in Coimbatore, Seeman voiced his concerns about the two major political parties in Tamil Nadu, alleging that they do not respect the sentiments of the Tamil people and merely treat them as vote banks.

Seeman reflected on the aspirations of LTTE leader Prabhakaran, who dreamed of a Tamil community living with full rights, a vision he claimed had been destroyed by both state and central political parties. He emphasized that the NTK party is not just a political entity but a "people’s army" committed to advocating for Tamil nationalism and rights. He also criticized the lack of a public holiday on May 18, a day significant to Tamils, contrasting it with the public holiday declared by M Karunanidhi in honor of YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s death.

In his speech, Seeman also condemned the political parties for eroding Tamil culture by promoting "Tanglish" (a mix of Tamil and English), and failing to address caste, religious ideologies, or feminist issues, as championed by Periyar.
