Another well-loved Disney movie is becoming a member of the "ohana," or family of live-action remakes. In 2025, less than 25 years after the first movie's premiere, Disney plans to make a live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch. In the film, a little Hawaiian girl acquires a new "dog" and discovers that Stitch is a genetically altered animal that is in high demand around the galaxy.
