Week 1 – Learning n8n, Struggling with Time, but Loving the Process!

🔍 A Glimpse into the Chaos

Let me tell you why this is chaotic.
Learning new tech is fun — but I started this journey right during my exams 🙂‍↔️ ... LOL.

Why? Because I want to be financially independent.
And honestly, who doesn’t like that idea?

I thought it’d be easy.
But but but... the real stuff starts now 😅

📚 What I Learned

• It’s honestly so satisfying to see things getting done automatically.

• I built a few n8n workflows:

  • An email responder

  • Fetched weather data via an API

  • Connected it to Gmail + ChatGPT

  • Set up a scheduler — so it automatically emails me the weather report every morning… with a proper chaotic 😂 subject line!

• Also learned a bit of self-discipline:

  • I started ignoring useless time-wasting things naturally. That surprised me.

🐞 Mistakes I Made

• I wasted time watching too many flashy YouTube videos.
  Clickbait thumbnails can be dangerous, lol.
  Honestly, if I had used that time to prepare for my exams, I’d probably be a topper 😭

• I ignored documentation at first.
  But now I realize: That’s where the real gold is.

🎢 My Life & Irony

I’m a 2nd-year BTech CSE student, really into AI and related fields.
I love exploring, but here's the truth:

The deeper I go into something, the more boring it feels sometimes.

Example:

• I started learning Machine Learning (ML)…

• Got overwhelmed…

• And I quit 😭
  Biggest regret, honestly.

Meanwhile, I hate web dev…
But guess what? My portfolio website is made in ReactJS — copied from a random YouTube video 😂

💭 Fun Side of Me

I enjoy listening to Acharya Prashant and diving into philosophical ideas.
But I also love to laugh like a maniac 😁

Watch some random stand-up comedy tonight. It’s therapy.

Watched Demon Slayer, One Piece — and absolutely love them.

So yeah, I’m just a curious soul learning tech, fighting exams, chasing independence, and finding joy in small wins.
