Rigid-flex PCB is a circuit board that combines flexible and rigid circuit board technologies in an application. Most rigid-flex boards consist of multiple layers of flexible circuit boards that are externally and/or internally connected to one or more rigid boards depending on the application design. Flexible substrates are designed to be in a constant flexed state, usually forming a flex curve during the rigid-flex PCB manufacturing or assembly process.
