🧠 Code Comeback Diaries – Day 2: A Win, A Fall, A Lesson

This is part of my “Code Comeback Diaries” series where I rebuild my focus, skills, and career — one day at a time.

Today started off with a solid win. I managed to do:

  • ✅ 20 Pushups

  • ✅ 20 Squats

  • ✅ 10 Pull-ups

Feeling good, I took a bath, had breakfast, and thought I'd just check notifications on my last blog post...

Well, that turned into an hour-long scroll through YouTube Shorts. 😑

Eventually, I put the phone away and got back to coding — improved the hero section of my blog website.

Then came lunch → which turned into a "small nap" → which became a 2-hour blackout nap. 😅
Woke up at 5 PM, and without realizing, slid into another 3-hour Shorts spiral.

😔 The Guilt

And here I am — ending the day with guilt and frustration.
But instead of hiding it, I’m writing it down.
Because this comeback won’t be perfect.
It’ll be messy, full of slips — but consistent.

Tomorrow, I’ll try again.
Because the only way out is through.

  • No Shorts in the morning

  • Code next section of the blog layout

  • 25 pushups this time
