Hello again everyone reading a book is a state in which we are lost in a kind or thinking dimension of our best visualization. Reading a book could be so relaxing for mind I did not think about it.

In my tech journey I was following content creator who are telling about productivity, Like for me the best way to get knowledge without any efforts was watching a youtube video, so they usually suggest book that you should read books because you can gain so much by reading books. In my previous day when I was about to start reading books One of my friend gave me a book and that books name was “power of subconcious mind“ I read the whole book and It felt like that the thing that was missing in my journey.

But today I am going to talk about the that I am reading right now and the book is “Ikigai“ the book has written on longetivity one the most important topic for every one ikigai tells us how to live longer in your life while finding your goals and purpose. If you have any purpose than your life will definitly turn into your best version. ikigai has multiple topics about longetivity but what I find from ikigai here it is.

"The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life"
By Héctor García & Francesc Miralles

The book "Ikigai" talks about the Japanese concept of ikigai, which means "a reason to live" or "a reason to wake up in the morning." It’s the balance between what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. When these four things meet, that’s your ikigai.

Main points:

  1. Find purpose in life – People who live long, especially in Okinawa, Japan, have a strong sense of purpose. They enjoy small daily activities, have strong social bonds, and stay active even in old age.

  2. Stay active, don’t retire completely – Keep your body and mind engaged. Even after 70 or 80, people in Japan do small jobs, gardening, walking, and helping others.

  3. Eat light and healthy – Follow the rule “Hara hachi bu” – eat until you’re 80% full. Their diet includes vegetables, tofu, fish, and green tea.

  4. Strong social connection – They believe in community. Spending time with friends, family, and helping others gives life meaning.

  5. Keep stress low – Stay calm, don’t rush, and enjoy the moment. They live a slow, peaceful lifestyle.

  6. Flow state – When you do something you love and lose track of time, you are in "flow." People with ikigai often do work or hobbies that give them this feeling.

  7. No need to be rich or famous – You just need to live with passion, simplicity, and positivity.

Ikigai is not something big or dramatic. It’s about doing small things daily that bring you joy and meaning. This book teaches us how to live longer, happier, and more peacefully by focusing on purpose, health, and human connection.
