Day 2: Reflections - Deep Dives and Client Calls

Today, I took another strong step forward in my JavaScript journey. The focus was on functions—how they’re declared, invoked, and especially how closures work. Understanding closures felt like unlocking a new layer of JavaScript's inner workings. It’s fascinating how functions can remember the scope in which they were created. One of those “aha” moments.

In the afternoon, I joined a value-packed 3MTT/Cleva webinar on “How to Sustain High-Paying Foreign Jobs and Clients.” Tega Designs shared practical and inspiring insights on building credibility, positioning oneself online, and the importance of consistency and delivery. That session was timely and aligned perfectly with my goals.

On the work front, I received a call from my client, Mrs. Jane, for whom I’ve built two websites:

She reached out requesting updates for both sites and also provided new materials to implement. I’ve already started working on them and set a goal to complete all updates by this weekend. I appreciate clients like her who trust my work and return with more tasks—it’s a sign of growth and professional reliability.

Between coding, learning, and client work, today was productive and fulfilling. I'm reminded that the journey is long but worth every step.
