🚀 Why I Started This Blog: Learning, Teaching, and Growing

Hey there 👋
I'm Sumith, a 25-year-old Software Developer currently working at a startup as a Lead Backend Engineer. I occasionally dive into frontend work with ReactJS and React Native—not my strongest suit visually, but I get the job done. 😅
Over the past few years, I've built, hosted, and maintained multiple Android and iOS apps on the Play Store and App Store. I’m comfortable writing basic Docker containers and managing deployments on Google Cloud Platform.
🎯 What I'm Aiming For
I’m now setting my sights on becoming a Lead Cloud Architect—someone who can build, scale, and secure infrastructure that just works. My roadmap looks something like this:
Backend Engineer ✅
DevOps 🛠️
MLOps 🚀
🔧 Skills I'm Working On
I’ve started this blog to track my learning and growth in the following areas:
✅ AWS/GCP Core Services
(EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM)✅ CI/CD Pipelines
(GitHub Actions, Jenkins)✅ Kubernetes
(Setting up basic clusters, deploying apps)✅ Terraform
(Infrastructure as Code fundamentals)
✍️ Why This Blog?
Honestly? I learn best when I teach.
This blog is my way of:
Documenting my daily learning progress
Sharing challenges I face and how I solve them
Explaining concepts in my own words
Encouraging myself to stay consistent
If you ever stumble upon this blog, I’d love for you to ask questions or point out anything confusing—your curiosity will help me become a better learner and teacher. 🙌
🔜 What to Expect
I'll be posting:
🔄 Daily learning logs
🧠 Study plans
🧪 Experiments & Projects
🧱 Failures and how I handled them
Let’s grow together!
Cheers,
Sumith
