Think of Generative AI like a super-smart ninja that can create new things—stories, images, poems—just by learning from a lot of examples. Just like how Naruto trains hard and learns jutsu, AI models train on text from books, websites, and more to learn how to talk, write, and answer questions.


🔥 What is GPT?

GPT stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer.
Let’s break that down:

  • Generative: It can create things (like writing a story or poem).

  • Pre-trained: It already studied a lot of text before you use it.

  • Transformer: A smart system that helps it understand language.

Think of GPT like the Hokage—very experienced and powerful. It has learned from thousands of books and websites, so it knows how to talk just like us.


🧩 What are Tokens?

Before AI can understand a sentence, it breaks it into small parts called tokens.

For example:

"Naruto loves ramen."
Becomes: [“Naruto”, “loves”, “ramen”, “.”]

Each word (or part of a word) is a token—just like how a jutsu is made from hand signs. These tokens help the AI understand and respond.

🧠 What is a Transformer?

Self-Attention is a superpower that helps the AI focus on important words.

For example:

“Although Naruto failed, he became Hokage.”

The AI needs to know that “he” means Naruto. Self-attention helps it figure that out, even if the words are far apart.
