RCB triumphed over Punjab Kings (PBKS) in a thrilling final held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. They secured a narrow six-run victory to finally lift their first-ever IPL trophy. Kohli posted several pictures with the trophy on social media, celebrating the momentous win.

Batting first, RCB posted a competitive total of 191/9, with Virat Kohli top-scoring for his side with a vital 43-run knock. In the second innings, Krunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar each claimed two wickets, helping RCB restrict PBKS to 184/7 and secure the historic win.

Meanwhile, Kohli played a crucial role in guiding his team to the IPL 2025 title. He was the top run-scorer for his side, amassing 657 runs in 15 matches at an impressive average of 54.75. He maintained an excellent strike rate of 144.71. The RCB opener smashed eight half-centuries during the tournament and ended up as the third-highest run-scorer overall.
