How To Start Believing In Myself?

Last night I watched a video and it really made me think about how I perceive myself. I always have doubt about everything. It is good when reflected into the outer world, as it pushes me to widen my view about the world, and it is not very easy to scam me (though I have been scammed several times). But when being abused in the inner world, it is a rock that stands in my way to achieve what I want.

This becomes even worst when I am in a new situation, e.g. a new culture or a new society, where I have to deal with not only myself but the psychological and cultural barriers, where I have zero prior knowledge about. I always consider myself logical and rational as I use logic to solve problems, not some believing shit. But, my knowledge is limited and there will always be things that I cannot understand, especially something related to cultures and on.

So the question is, “why don’t I keep leveraging my rationale and at the same time, make use of the believing shit?”. Yeah, why not?

So how do I to start believe in myself? Where do I even begin with? I do not know at the time of writing this article, but I will start with the most basic belief in the most basic activity: I will make myself believe that I can get this done, before starting to do it. That seems like a very tough challenge, but I will try and get back to update on how it goes.

(Update)

Do you have the experience when you can sense the spike of your self-belief (even before you start to take action), you are more likely to have an outstanding result. It is reflected in your thinking process, your fearlessness of taking action and your firm determination. The reason behind this phenomenon is remained to be unknown.

So, one might want to have that boosting dope every time he wants to do something. But again, as the sufficient conditions is unclear, it is not something we can control for the moment.
