The five-match Test series against England starts on June 20.

The much-awaited five-match Test series between England and India is going to start from June 20. Team India is going to be put to a tough test on this tour under the leadership of Shubman Gill, as the team does not have two experienced players and former captains Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Both have said goodbye to Test cricket during IPL 2025.

On the other hand, before the start of the Test series against England, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has made a big statement about Jasprit Bumrah’s workload. It is worth noting that Bumrah bowled a total of 151.2 overs during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and took a total of 32 wickets at an average of 13.06. He also received the Player of the Series award for this brilliant performance, but due to this workload, he injured himself in the fifth match played in Sydney.

This injury of Bumrah was quite serious, due to which he could not play in the Champions Trophy 2025. So, now when he is returning from injury, the Team India management has to think a lot about his workload. Meanwhile, Ganguly, who was the President of BCCI from 2019 to 2022, has made a big statement about Bumrah.

Jasprit Bumrah

Let us tell you that in a recent interview to Revsports, Ganguly said about Bumrah – You have to take care of him and not let him bowl more than 12 or 13 overs. I believe that four fast bowlers are necessary in England. In this setup, other bowlers like Siraj, Arshdeep will also have to work hard.
