š ļø My Journey to Becoming a Creative Builder (And Why You Might Want to Join Me)

If Iām honest, this all started with a pencil and a childhood love for drawing.
Iāve always enjoyed making things like shapes, colours, characters. But as I was growing up, I didn't have the chance to dive into it fully. No art classes and no proper training. I used to copy drawings I liked, sketching quietly in my own little world. What about creativity? It was always there, just waiting for the right moment.
Just like a lot of people, I was encouraged to concentrate on āsomething stable.ā I worked really hard, picked engineering, and jumped into the exciting world of code. It felt cozy⦠But also, to be honest? It can be a little dull at times.
In my last role as an HMI Developer, everything just fell into place. I had a great time with the design aspect, especially when it came to creating interfaces in Unity and experimenting with the look and feel of everything. That's when the thought came to me:
What if I didnāt have to choose between creativity and code?
What if I could blend the two, my love for visuals, the bits of machine learning that fascinate me, and the tech skills Iāve picked up?
Later, after starting college, that idea continued to blossom. I came to the conclusion that I wanted to explore beyond the usual machine learning engineering route. I wanted to dive deeper into blending creativity, storytelling, and tech in a way that feels exciting and authentic to me.
Thatās how my Creative Builder journey began. šø
š» What Exactly Is a Creative Builder?
A Creative Builder, in my view, is someone who leverages technology not only to address challenges but also to share stories, craft artistic tools, and create items that resonate on a personal level.
It might be:
A web app that offers gentle, beautiful quotes to lift your spirits when you're feeling down
A fun AI tool that sketches with you
A small ML-powered project designed to bring a smile or inspire new thoughts
It's not about being a pro. Itās all about being curious and having the courage to give it a go.
š§© Why Iām Starting This Blog
Iām starting this blog because I want to build in the open. I want to learn out loud, make imperfect things, and document every little win (and every little bug š).
Every week, Iāll share:
Small creative projects (including the quirky ones!)
Easy-to-follow lessons from my experiences
Candid reflections on the highs and lows of discovering your own journey
It's perfectly okay not to have all the answers when you begin! I really donāt!
All you need is a little spark and a cosy place to nurture it.
š± A Tiny Invitation
If youāve ever found yourself caught between your creative side and your logical sideā¦
If youāve ever wondered, āMaybe Iām not technical enoughā or āMaybe Iām not creative enoughā...
Feel free to come and hang out here!
This space is for those who find themselves in between. The dreamers who see the world in vibrant colours yet express themselves through the simplicity of black and white code.
The ones who are still on the journey just like me!
Takeaway of the Week
š How about coming up with a fun little project that combines something you love with a new skill youāre picking up? It could be a great way to enjoy both!
Even if it seems a bit silly. Especially if it seems a bit silly.
That's where the magic usually starts. āØ

Hi! Iām a curious beginner learning to blend creativity with code. I call myself a Creative Builder, someone who loves exploring the soft, aesthetic side of tech. Iām still figuring things out, but Iām here to share what I learn as I go: building tiny projects with machine learning, design, storytelling, and art. This blog is my playground where I write, reflect, and grow, one imperfect idea at a time. Letās build soft tech with soul š š» Languages: Python, JavaScript (learning) š§ Tools: Jupyter Notebook, VS Code, Google ColabšØ Creative: HTML, CSS, Canva, Figma (exploring UI/UX)š§Ŗ AI/ML: scikit-learn, pandas, basic ML modelsš® Fun: Unity (UI design), Flask (for small web apps)š± Currently learning: Tailwind CSS, Git & GitHub, creative AI tools
