1. SSC Proposes ‘Sliding Scheme’ for CGL 2025

SSC has proposed a “sliding scheme” to ensure full recruitment for all advertised Group B & C posts in CGL 2025.
This mechanism would act like a waiting list, filling vacancies from candidates who fail to report after document verification.
Proposal has been sent to the Central Government for approval.

Registration for 14,582 vacancies is open until 4 July; last year saw 36.73 lakh applicants.
