Strathclyde University Offers Rs 7 Lakh Scholarship for Physics Master’s Applicants

The University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, has launched an international scholarship programme offering over ₹7 lakh (GBP 7,000) in tuition fee reductions for students enrolling in its full-time taught postgraduate Physics programmes for the academic session beginning September 2025.

Scholarship Details and Key Dates

The scholarship is designed to support self-funded international students who are paying overseas fees. Applications for the scholarship open on June 2, 2025, and close on July 31, 2025. A separate application for the scholarship is not required—eligible students will be automatically considered once they accept their course offer and pay the required deposit. Awards will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for this financial aid, applicants must:

  • Be international, self-funded students

  • Hold an offer for a full-time taught Master’s programme in Physics at the University of Strathclyde’s Glasgow campus

  • Not be receiving full sponsorship from a government or other funding agency

This scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be applied to other academic sessions or departments. Students are allowed to receive only one scholarship per academic year from the university.

Automatic Award Process
