NEET UG 2025 Results Declared: Rajasthan’s Mahesh Kumar Tops with AIR 1

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET UG 2025 results, bringing relief and excitement to over 22 lakh aspirants across the country. Candidates can now access their scorecards via the official NTA website: neet.nta.nic.in.

This year, a record 22,76,069 students registered for NEET UG 2025, with 22,09,318 appearing for the examination. The gender-wise breakdown includes 9.65 lakh male, 13.10 lakh female, and 11 third-gender candidates.

The NTA has released the list of toppers, with Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan emerging as the All India Rank (AIR) 1 holder, scoring an impressive 99.9999547 percentile.

NEET UG 2025 Cut-off and Evaluation

The NTA has also released category-wise cut-off marks. For questions with more than one correct answer, candidates were awarded full marks for selecting any one of the correct options, as per the official policy.

What’s Next?

Qualified candidates will now proceed to the counselling process for admission into MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical programs. The detailed counselling schedule and procedures will soon be released on the official portals of MCC and state-level authorities.

Alongside the results, the final answer key has also been made public. It takes into account the objections raised by candidates after the provisional answer key was published on June 3, 2025, with the challenge window closing on June 5, 2025.
