CyberSec India Expo 2025

Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai
🗓️ June 12–13, 2025
CyberSec India Expo 2025
Just wrapped up an inspiring two-day journey at #CyberSecIndiaExpo2025, and I must say, it was much more than just a technology event. It felt like standing at the crossroads of innovation, policy, ethics, and resilience, a space where cybersecurity meets the real-world challenges of fast-moving digital transformation.
As a DevSecOps engineer, this event truly resonated with me, highlighting how security is no longer just an afterthought but a shared responsibility that starts from the first line of code and stays active through runtime, monitoring, and compliance. Thought-Provoking Conversations & Sessions
The Intersection of AI and Cybersecurity
An incredibly relevant panel. AI is revolutionizing detection, response, and automation, but also introduces questions around bias, transparency, and adversarial manipulation. The consensus? Use AI to enhance humans, not replace them.
Case Study: GRC Starts with Identity
A real-world demonstration of how IAM is the backbone of effective GRC. In a DevSecOps model, identity isn't just about access, it's about visibility, accountability, and control across every stage of delivery.
IT Security Laws & Regulations in Europe
As regulations like GDPR, DORA, and NIS2 tighten, “compliance by design” is becoming a competitive advantage. The session emphasized the need for global policy awareness when building pipelines across borders.
Digital Supply Chain Risks
Today, we build with third-party APIs, OSS libraries, SaaS services, and every one is a potential vulnerability. This session reinforced that SBOMs, trust boundaries, and vendor risk scoring need to be part of DevOps checklists.
Data Privacy: The New Digital Frontier
Privacy isn’t a checkbox it’s a user expectation. From data minimization to anonymization, the takeaway was clear: privacy must be baked in, not bolted on.
Quantum Cryptography vs Traditional Encryption
A fascinating fireside chat on what post-quantum cryptography means for developers and enterprises. Start small, plan early, and stay ready.
Live DDoS Simulation
This wasn’t just a show, it was a practical lesson in resilience. From real-time monitoring to mitigation, it showcased the need for layered, intelligent defense systems that can auto-scale and adapt.
Technology Exhibits That Caught My Attention
I spent time interacting with several companies that are solving real problems in DevSecOps and cybersecurity:
Zecurion – Next-Gen DLP and DCAP tools, excellent fit for data-centric pipeline governance
Adaptive – Dynamic, real-time detection ideal for fast-moving DevSecOps environments
Keypasco – Identity-first tokenization, PKI, and zero-trust capabilities
Meta Infotech – Automated CI/CD security integrations and policy-as-code tooling
Syteca – Impressive container & Kubernetes workload protection
CryptoBind – Token vaults, HSMs, and DPDP compliance built into their encryption engine
CyberNX, REDFOX, ShieldByte Infosec – Real-world SOC readiness, red teaming, and vulnerability ops
Netwrix – Their unified dashboard for DSPM, PAM, auditing, and policy enforcement is a game-changer
QuNu Labs – Leading India’s movement toward quantum-resistant cryptography
Splashtop – Secure access and session recording tools perfect for hybrid DevOps teams
This event left me both energized and thoughtful. The challenges we face today, whether in protecting identities, ensuring compliance, or preparing for quantum threats, require not just tools but shared values and collaboration across engineering, security, and leadership.
If you’re working on securing CI/CD, building compliant architectures, or transforming your DevSecOps practices, let’s connect. I’d love to exchange ideas and explore how we can build safer, smarter systems together.
