You’re Not Lazy. You’re Just Tired: How I Found Myself Again in 4 Days

Sometimes, you feel like you’re doing everything wrong.
You can’t think clearly.
You can’t do what you used to love.
You keep wondering if you’re even good at anything anymore.

You feel… worthless.

STOP.
Am I speaking your thoughts out loud?

Sit with me.
Breathe.

You’re not broken. You’re not falling behind.
You’re just tired.
This is not the real you — it’s the stressed you.
And the real you is still in there, waiting.

🌼 My Story: From Overwhelm to Awareness

I had 9 days of holidays recently. I planned everything:

  • My coding

  • My interview prep

  • Blogging

  • Cleaning my routine

  • Growing my digital presence

But 5 days in, I had barely done anything I truly wanted to.
Instead:

  • I scrolled endlessly

  • I ate when I wasn’t even hungry

  • I overslept

  • I felt guilty and low

  • I told myself I’d wasted everything

And worst of all, I started believing:

“Maybe I’m just not capable. Maybe others are better.”

But I was wrong.

🔁 The Reset That Changed Me

During my college summer camp, something clicked.

I was alive. Active. Focused. Present.
I worked late. I moved my body. I ate right.
There was no pressure. No overthinking.

For those 4 days, I wasn’t just surviving — I was thriving.
And I finally remembered who I really am.

One professional I spoke to gave me a simple piece of advice:

“Don’t let your environment define your identity.
You already know who you are. Just don’t forget it.”

That’s when I realized:
I’m not lazy. I’m not slow. I’m not weak.
I’m just overwhelmed.

🧠 The Spiral of Self-Worth

When you’re constantly:

  • comparing yourself to others

  • scared of failure

  • chasing perfect productivity

  • beating yourself up…

…you’ll always feel drained.

You’re not failing — your brain is exhausted.

It’s not that you’ve become incapable.
You’ve just forgotten how capable you already are.

🌱 My Way Back

Now, I’m not rushing anymore. I’m choosing balance.

I want to:

  • Wake up early

  • Sleep peacefully

  • Eat only what nourishes me

  • Code with joy

  • Prepare with curiosity, not panic

  • Blog and express, not suppress

I didn’t fail.
I just fell.
And now, I rise.

💌 A Reminder for You

If you’re in that spiral — I see you.

You are not broken.
You are not behind.
You are not weak.

You’re just carrying too much, for too long.

Let this be the sign:
Take a break. Come home to yourself.
Don’t force. Don’t panic.

Start small. But start with love.
You’ve met your best self before. You will meet her again.
