Uzbekistan Announces Fully Funded Master’s Scholarships for Indian Students in Tourism, Culture Sectors

In a unique opportunity for Indian graduates, the Republic of Uzbekistan has launched five fully-funded scholarships for Master's degree programmes at the prestigious Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand for the academic year 2025–26.

These scholarships are aimed at students interested in specialized fields such as Tourism and Hospitality, Archaeology, Museum Studies, Restoration, and Management. All courses will be taught in English.

Round-trip airfare (economy class) once a year

Monthly stipend: USD 500

Accommodation support: Up to USD 100/month

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must submit the following:

A valid passport or ID

Bachelor’s degree certificate

CV and recent photograph

English proficiency certificate (IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL iBT 72 / CEFR B2), or proof of English-medium undergraduate education

A 1–1.5 page essay titled “Contributing to the development of tourism of the SCO countries”
