I Built a Free Tool to Visually Schedule Meetings Across Time Zones – Here's Why and How

🌍 The Problem: Scheduling Across Time Zones Is a Headache
As a developer working with remote clients and teams across the US, Europe, and Asia, I was constantly struggling with one thing: finding the right time for a meeting.
We’ve all been there:
Someone shares a time in their local timezone
You Google “10 AM EST in IST”
Then you try to see if it’s within your working hours
Then repeat the whole thing for a third or fourth teammate…
It’s frustrating, error-prone, and kills productivity.
The Solution: TimeSync Planner
That’s why I built TimeSync Planner — a free web-based tool to visually compare and schedule working hours across time zones.
You simply:
Add team members and their time zones
Instantly see a grid of overlapping hours
Find the best meeting time — visually, without doing any math
✅ Key Features:
Supports multiple team members
Color-coded working hours
No sign-up needed
Fast, responsive UI (built with Next.js + Tailwind CSS)
Free to use
🛠️ Tech Stack
Since this was a solo project, I kept the stack lightweight and modern:
Frontend: Next.js (App Router), Tailwind CSS
State Management: React hooks
Hosting: Vercel
Domain: Planning to move to a
.tools
domain soon (currently onvercel.app
)
The design is optimized for clarity and speed, especially for people hopping in just to find a quick meeting slot.
🔜 What's Next?
This is just the start. I'm actively building:
Google Calendar integration
Slack notifications
Eventually, I plan to turn this into a full SaaS with advanced team scheduling tools and collaboration features.
🙏 Try It & Share Feedback
Here’s the link: 👉 https://timesync-planner.vercel.app
It’s free, requires no login, and takes 10 seconds to try.
If you're part of a remote team, freelancing, or even planning across time zones with friends — give it a go and let me know what you think. Any feedback or suggestions are super welcome!
