From $0 to $100/Month as a Solo Creator: My 2025 Game Plan

A few weeks ago, I had $0 coming in from the internet.

No clients. No monetized blog. No personal brand.

But I did have one thing: the desire to figure it out.

So I decided to do something about it, and build my journey in public.

This is my honest roadmap for earning my first $100/month online.

No fluff, no paid courses, no fancy gear.

Just one creator. One laptop. And a whole lot of consistency.

Step 1: Build a Home on the Internet

First things first, I needed a place to publish.

I chose Hashnode because:

  • It’s beginner-friendly

  • SEO-ready out of the box

  • Free custom domain support

  • Clean UI + markdown editor

So I launched TechByAdarsh.com.

It’s not fancy, but it’s mine.

My goal was simple: publish 1 high-quality blog post every 1–2 days and share my learnings as I go.

Even if nobody read it at first, I knew the reps would compound.

Step 2: Publish Consistent, Useful Content

Here’s the type of content I focused on:

  1. Beginner guides for trending AI tools

  2. My own workflow with free tools (no fluff)

  3. Transparent progress, what’s working, what’s not

Why?

Because most beginners like me don’t need 100 tools, they need 10 good ones and a clear strategy.

I made sure to write as a learner, not a guru.

And that made my content more relatable.

Instead of writing for clicks, I wrote for connection.

Step 3: Build in Public on Twitter

Publishing alone isn’t enough, you need distribution.

So I created a new Twitter account and started posting daily:

  • Quick wins I discovered

  • Blog post snippets

  • My metrics (followers, blog stats, milestones)

  • Relatable moments from the journey

This helped me:

  • Build momentum and accountability

  • Connect with fellow builders

  • Stay motivated when numbers were small

In 6 days:

  • I published 6 blog posts

  • Posted 25+ tweets

  • Gained my first 10 real followers (all builders)

  • Started getting DMs, likes, and real feedback

It’s not viral, but it’s real traction.

Step 4: Distribute Like Crazy

Once I had content, I repurposed it like this:

  • Turned posts into Twitter threads

  • Took insights and shared them as visuals (cover + OG images)

  • Used short videos to walk through blog content

  • Commented on 20+ relevant tweets daily to stay visible

Each piece of content served 3 purposes:

Teach, attract, and connect.

And I didn’t just drop links, I started conversations.

Because early traffic isn’t about reach, it’s about relationships.

Step 5: Prepare for Monetization

Here’s how I plan to earn my first $100:

1. AdSense (once traffic grows)

  • I’m building everything in Notion and Apple Reminders, but I’m also testing out simple funnels using Systeme.io a free all-in-one tool for landing pages, email, and automations.

  • Once I hit 10+ high-quality posts and decent organic traffic, I’ll apply for Google AdSense

2. Digital Product or Notion Template

  • I’m building everything in Notion and Apple Reminders

  • I’ll bundle my routines + content systems into a small paid digital kit ($5–$15)

3. Affiliate Tools I Actually Use

  • Only free tools I genuinely use like Notion, Hashnode, Canva, DaVinci Resolve, etc.

  • I’ll write authentic reviews and tutorials

4. Newsletter in the long run

  • Beehiv landing page is in plan, but only after more consistent traffic

  • The goal: own my audience and share updates weekly

If one of these works, I hit $100.

If two do, I reinvest and scale.

The goal isn’t just money.

It’s to learn how to earn online as a creator, from scratch.

Lessons I’ve Already Learned

Here are a few key things I’ve learned just by showing up every day:

  • Momentum is everything. Post something daily.

  • Don’t overthink the numbers early on.

  • Ask questions. Talk to others. This builds connection, not just content.

  • AI can help, but you still need your voice.

  • Building in public makes everything better.

Most of all, you don’t need 10,000 followers.

You just need 10 people who trust you.

What’s Next for Me

My upcoming goals:

  • Publish blog post #7 to #10 (at 1 every 2 days)

  • Hit 100 daily readers

  • Apply for AdSense by next weekend

  • Build my free Notion system page

  • Continue engaging on X with 20+ replies per day

  • Record 2 new videos for future posts

It’s not about speed, it’s about building a real habit.

If I can do this solo, from scratch, anyone can.

Final Thoughts

This isn’t just a plan, it’s the beginning of something real.

I’m building with free tools, zero spend, and full transparency, not just to make $100/month, but to prove that anyone can start from scratch and grow.

If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to start, let this be your sign.

I’ll continue sharing every step, win or fail, right here, in public.

Let’s see how far we can go. 🚀
