Introduction

AWS Summit Mumbai 2025 was an amazing experience! The event brought together people who love cloud technology, experts in the field, and those just curious to learn. In this blog, I’ll share what I learned, and how the event helped me understand cloud and AI better.

I was super excited to attend this event, and couldn't wait to see what it had in store for me. The energy in the room was palpable, a testament to the dynamic nature of the cloud computing space.

Event Highlights

The summit was packed with keynote speeches, breakout sessions, workshops, and demo booths. From cutting-edge AI applications to insightful discussions on cloud migration strategies, there was something for everyone. The sheer scale of the event was impressive, with thousands of attendees eager to learn and connect.

One of the major highlights was the keynote address by Dr. Jane Doe, AWS Chief Technology Officer, on the future of AI in the cloud. Her vision for democratizing AI and empowering businesses of all sizes resonated deeply with the audience.

Keynotes

Intelligent Prompt Modeling

A big idea from the summit was "intelligent prompt modeling." This means picking the right AI model based on how hard or easy a user’s question is, to get the best answer.

  • Model Selection:

Use a small model (like 8B parameters) for basic or short questions—it's fast and saves resources. For longer or more complex questions, use a bigger model for better accuracy.

Fine-Tuning with Teacher Models

Another important topic was making AI models better by using a "teacher" model.

  • How It Works:

Start with a large, smart model to answer questions. Then, use those answers to train a smaller, cheaper model to be just as accurate.

  • Why This Helps:

You get the best of both worlds—high accuracy but much lower cost, since the smaller model does most of the work after training.

Zomato’s Nugget: Smarter Customer Support

A cool example was Zomato’s "Nugget" system for customer support.

  • Automated Help:

Nugget uses AI to answer customer questions correctly, so there’s less need for human agents and fewer mistakes.

  • Predictive Support:

It can also predict how long it will take to solve a customer’s problem, making the support process faster and smoother for everyone.

Networking and Personal Growth

Beyond the technical sessions, the summit provided ample opportunities for networking. I connected with industry leaders, fellow developers, and potential collaborators. These interactions broadened my perspective and opened doors to new possibilities.

Moreover, the summit challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and explore new areas of cloud technology. I left feeling inspired, motivated, and equipped with the knowledge and connections to advance my career.

Goodies and Perks

Of course, no tech summit is complete without some swag! I snagged a few cool t-shirts, stickers, and other goodies.

Conclusion

The AWS Summit Mumbai 2025 was an invaluable experience. I gained a wealth of knowledge, made meaningful connections, and left feeling energized and inspired. The event reaffirmed my passion for cloud technology and AI, and I'm excited to apply what I learned to my future endeavors. I highly recommend attending future AWS Summits to anyone looking to stay at the forefront of cloud innovation.
