My Journey as a Web Developer

Getting Started in Web Development
My journey didn’t begin with a laptop or a perfect setup — it began with curiosity and a phone. I was always interested in learning new things. Before I got into web development, I explored video editing and poster design just because I enjoyed creating. Whether it was designing a social media graphic or editing a short video on my phone, I found joy in building things that looked good and told a story.
Learning Without a Laptop
When I got curious about web development, I started with whatever tools I had — my phone. I watched coding tutorials, wrote basic HTML and CSS in mobile editors, and consumed every bit of knowledge I could find. But I soon hit the limitations of my phone. That’s when I began borrowing laptops from friends just to practice. Even if I got only an hour or two, I made the most of it.
Working Towards a Dream
I realized that if I really wanted to grow, I needed my own laptop. So I made a decision — I started saving. Every rupee I could keep aside went into that goal. After months of saving, I finally bought a laptop of my own. That day was special. It wasn’t just a device; it was proof that I could work toward something and earn it. I was happier than I had ever been.
Challenges & Triumphs
The path wasn’t smooth. I’ve faced limitations, rejections, slow progress, and confusion — but I never gave up. Every struggle taught me something new. One of my biggest achievements was building my first fully functional website on the laptop I bought with my own effort.
Skills Gained
Alongside web development — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React — I’ve built skills in design, editing, and creative thinking. My background in video editing and poster design gave me an eye for aesthetics, which now helps me create cleaner, user-friendly interfaces.
The Road Ahead
Today, I’m on a mission to grow further as a developer and designer. I want to keep learning, keep building, and one day, help others who are starting out just like I did — with limited tools, but unlimited determination.
