Running a company is not always as glamorous as it looks on social media.
Before I launched my business, I had this picture in my head:
✨ Waking up to online payments.
✨ Working from beautiful cafés with a laptop and latte.
✨ Posting one reel and suddenly getting booked out.
✨ Having “freedom” to work whenever I want.
Sounds nice, right?

Here’s What It’s Actually Like 👇
✅ I work more hours now than I ever did at a job.
Except now, I do it with heart — because the mission matters. But it’s still work, and often, it’s heavy behind the scenes.
✅ You have to sell, even when you don’t feel like it.
Because being “good” isn’t enough. You need to communicate your value constantly.
✅ Decision fatigue is real.
There’s no boss giving you instructions — you are the boss. Which means the pressure to get it right is on you.
✅ You will wear multiple hats.
Marketing, customer service, accounting, admin — you don’t start with a full team. You are the team.
✅ Some days feel lonely and scary.
There’s self-doubt. There are quiet seasons. There are tough clients and unexpected setbacks. And you still have to show up.
Running a business is fulfilling. It stretches you. It humbles you. It grows you.
But it’s not magic — it’s intentional work.
And once you let go of the myth, you’re free to actually build something real.
