Welcome to Code & Coffee

Table of contents
Hey There
Welcome to Code & Coffee — my personal corner of the internet where I share the behind-the-scenes journey of learning, building, and thinking like a developer.
I'm a first-year Industrial Chemistry student with a passion for tech, I was recently awarded a scholarship into the Dyen Web Development programme. Between school, self-learning, I’m currently navigating life as a solo dev while working on small projects that blend code with AI, automation, and real-world use cases.
The name “Code & Coffee” isn’t just a name — it represents the two sides of my developer journey, “Code” represents the technical side — programming, experiments, tutorials, and lessons learned. “Coffee” captures the rest — brainstorming, late-night ideas, burnout, reflections, and the messy-but-real process of becoming better. Whether you're a student, a dev, or just curious about the journey, I’m really glad you’re here.
What To Expect In this Blog
Like I said earlier, this blog is part journal, and part resource hub. Here’s the kind of content you’ll find here:
Real-world coding lessons from building projects like RESTful APIs, backend workflows, interactive frontends, full-stack web applications, AI chatbots, AI-powered product and more.
Beginner-friendly lessons in JavaScript (Node.js and TypeScript), MySQL (with Sequelize), development, and much more as i learn on the way.
Behind-the-scenes posts on building in public as a solo dev, scholarship student in the Dyen Web Development programme, and Industrial Chemistry undergrad.
Reflections and rants on burnout, learning curves, and staying motivated.
Tech experiments with AI tools, APIs, and essential developer resources.
Thanks for stopping by and reading this far — whether you’re here to learn something new, follow my dev journey, or just enjoy some honest, caffeine-fueled tech talk. I’m excited to build, write, and grow in public, and I’d love to have you along for the ride.
Don’t close this tab just yet — my first real post drops soon.
