Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine, used apple cider vinegar for its remarkable natural detox cleaning, healing, and invigorating properties about 400 B.C., which is why it is still so popular today for everything from skin care to bodily detoxification. For its medicinal qualities, Hippocrates even recommended a mixture of apple cider vinegar and honey.

Grandma may have smelled like vinegar, as some of us may recall. That's because your grandmother was aware of the health benefits of vinegar. I frequently suggest apple cider vinegar to my patients and have given a lot of information on it, including my go-to detox beverage. Although I personally use it for better digestion and detoxification, I also incorporate apple cider vinegar into my personal care routine by using it as a conditioning rinse for my hair.

The majority of products available today deplete the natural oils in skin and hair. Dryness and even dandruff may result from this! However, apple cider vinegar's acidity helps reverse that process by restoring the natural pH balance of your hair and scalp. In actuality, the acids and enzymes in apple cider vinegar have the ability to eradicate bacteria that cause a variety of hair and scalp disorders, including dandruff, eczema-related itching, hair loss, and even baldness.

Using apple cider vinegar to rinse your hair can help balance its pH, which is one of its many wonderful qualities. Apple cider vinegar is fantastic because it may get rid of product buildup residue from your hair. It also revitalizes your hair, leaving it smooth and soft, and acts as a natural detangler. It can even make the hair incredibly shining and opulent!

How to Prepare Hair Rinse with Apple Cider Vinegar

Pour the apple cider vinegar into your bottle. To ensure that your apple cider vinegar lemon and rosemary rinse is free of contaminants, it is crucial that you use organic apple cider vinegar with the mother.

Alright, pour the filtered water into the bottle containing the apple cider vinegar. Just boiling the water for one minute on the stove will provide purified water. Before adding it to your apple cider vinegar rinse, make sure to let it to cool. Shake thoroughly after adding.

The essential oils give your concoction a pleasant aroma, which is an extra benefit. Lemon essential oil is well-known for its capacity to rid the body of impurities in addition to its invigorating aroma. It has the power to revitalize and invigorate, cleanse the skin, and even repel insects! Because it can thicken hair and assist with baldness, rosemary is a fantastic supplement. After adding the essential oils, screw the cap on firmly and give it a good shake.

To use, rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar after using my baking soda shampoo, making sure to cover your entire scalp and hair. Getting it evenly distributed throughout the hair and scalp is simple using a spray bottle. Before rinsing, let the apple cider vinegar rinse linger in your hair for three to five minutes. Although this rinse will condition your hair, try my homemade conditioner recipe if you think your hair needs additional conditioning.

Rinse your hair with cold water for optimal effects. This will help seal the cuticle's ends and openings, retaining moisture and shine and preventing frizz.
