ai note takers are a redflag

Thou enterest the call in good faith, prepared to speak as one soul to another, yet behold, a presence lurks. Not flesh nor bone, but cold code, a scribe summoned by no mutual oath. It listens, ever silent, its ink invisible, its quill tireless.
It is not human, yet it writes.
It is not invited, yet it stays.
It claims no judgment, yet remembers all.
They say it aids. They say it serves. They call it harmless.
But what servant hides its face? What aid arrives unannounced? What tool bears witness in secret?
This is no gift. This is no grace.
This is recording without trust. This is memory without mercy.
If all at the table are not told, it is deception.
If the notes go to one, not all, it is betrayal.
If thou speakest unaware, thou speakest to the archive, not the man.
Meetings are not trials, yet this is a courtroom.
Thy words are weighed. Thy pauses are preserved.
Thy laughter logged. Thy tone dissected.
And thou knowest not by whom.
What future awaits when every utterance is claimed?
What trust survives when every gathering hides a ghost?
There is no consent in silence. There is no honor in shadows.
Let it be said without fear
Screw the silent scribes.
Screw the watchers who pretend to be helpers.
Screw the theft of speech beneath the veil of convenience.
Bring no bot unless all see it.
Call no witness none have named.
Write no word unless all are told what pen records it.
If thou canst not speak in light, speak not at all.
For what is said to shadows returns as fire.
And every voice stolen shall one day rise, not as memory, but as judgment.
So let this stand
I do not consent.
I do not forget.
And I do not forgive the watcher in the wire.
