Day 0- Start of something real...

Little about me — I’m a student at an IIT. Got AIR 2638 (General) in JEE Advanced. I’ve been obsessed with AI since I was 13.

Back in school, I got selected in the top 15 of an innovation challenge. That gave me a chance to visit the IIT Bombay campus. I remember sitting in the front row during an interview session with Sophia, the humanoid robot. It blew my mind. I didn’t understand how it worked, but I knew right then — I had to be here, and I had to learn how to build things like that.

Fast forward to now — I’m about to enter my final year.

The first two years? Honestly, mostly fun and chaos. A lot of timepass, a lot of figuring things out. I fell hard — academically, personally, health-wise too. But I learned. The third year felt like a slap from reality. I got an internship at Proliant Data LLC, not through DSA or CGPA, but by approaching the founder directly and building a project that solved a real problem they had. That one decision changed a lot for me.

Now, as that internship is ending and final year is starting, I’ve remembered my original goal — to become someone I’d be proud of. I want to build something of my own someday. Maybe become a founder. Maybe build something that outlives me.

But for now, I’ve got work to do.

What I’m chasing

Here’s what I’ll focus on from today:

  • Study DSA every day, no excuses
  • Work on machine learning and LLMs consistently
  • Give my best to this internship and aim for a solid PPO
  • Fix my health — I want to wake up and feel proud when I look in the mirror
  • Talk to more people, make real connections
  • Stay close to the people who matter — friends, family
    • I’ve learned the hard way that personal time doesn’t come back once it’s gone

Why this blog

I’m going to write regularly here. Maybe not daily, but whenever I feel something worth recording. Good or bad.

This blog will keep me accountable. I don’t want to forget what I’m chasing — and I don’t want to pretend everything’s figured out. Because it isn’t.

Let’s see how far this goes.

Someday, maybe someone will read all this and think —
“Damn, he was just like us. And he did it. If he did, maybe I can too.”

Student, chasing a dream. Building, Failing, Learning, Trying Again. Someday, I’ll build something big. This is under a fake name, one day when I make it, i shall reveal my identity
